Money Coaching at Capital One
Over three years (2014-2017), I led the research, development, launch, and scale of a groundbreaking new service for a major national bank.
Money Coaching is a one-on-one, judgment-free, guided program that helps people build a firm financial foundation by aligning their values, beliefs, goals, and spending to move forward in life.
The service has become a key marketing proof point for Capital One, with coaching sessions offered at most Cafe spaces across the country. When asked how likely they were to recommend Capital One to a friend or family member based on their experience with Money Coaching, customers gave an NPS score of 90. The service was also a finalist for the Service Design Network (SDN) Awards in 2017.
